We have recently returned from a great vacation in Israel, basing ourselves in Jerusalem.We stayed at the City Centre apartment which was fantastic. It could not be more perfect with a unbelievable location. The lounge/dinning/kitchen area is huge, and has a very large bathroom with shower and bath. The building is clean and very well kept, and the apartment has every modern convenience one could wish for. Chevi is also remarkable and very pleasant and helpful to work with.

If you’re looking to rent an apartment for all or part of your vacation in Israel, consider Nachla’ot. One of the oldest Jerusalem neighborhoods outside the Old City walls (second only to Yemin Moshe), Nachla’ot is a delightful warren of paths, alleyways and courtyards — seemingly a world unto itself, but only a short walk from downtown Jerusalem. It’s crammed with family and student residences, shuls and yeshivas, but is only minutes from Machane Yehuda (for the freshest of foods, on Agrippas to the north) and Shalom Falafel (acknowledged to be the best falafel joint in the entire city, on Bezalel to the south). We had our own kosher kitchen and a mirpesset. For someone used to staying in hotels, this was an enjoyable change of pace, much more economical, and gave us a more intimate taste of living in Jerusalem. We would definitely do it again. Call Chevi and mention our name. She’ll take care of you.

On this trip to Israel, instead of staying at a hotel, our daughter requested that we rent an apartment so that we could host both a shabbat dinner and lunch the following day. Our apartment worked beautifully for two reasons. First, the kitchen was all set up to serve kosher food and the floor plan allowed us to expand the space needed for a larger crowd by using the adjacent terrace to the dinning area. Your agency was accommodating by supplying us with additional folding chairs and tables. Second, there is no better location than Achaad Haam. We were within walking distance to Emek Refaim, the Old City, and Ben Yahuda. When we return to Israel next time to visit our daughter, we will definitely call at home in israel.

We very much enjoyed staying at Achad Haam 6B. It is so well placed for the old city, buses to the bus station , shopping areas and the German colony. It was great having a good washing machine, dryer and iron. Having a phone for local calls was great. It was spacious and clean and I loved having breakfast on the patio. We appreciated your quick and helpful response when we asked for a drying rack. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to stay there again.

My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay in Ahad HaAm 6. It was exactly as advertised and conveniently located close to everything. We walked to the Old City, the German Colony, City of David and many other areas as well. There is a grocery store 1 block away so it was easy to stock the refrigerator and pick up day to day items. The location was peaceful and quiet so we all sleep well. Chevi was very helpful with any questions we had including how to get to the airport. When we arrived we did not know what to expect on our 3 week vacation ,due to the recession instead of booking a hotel with all the western amenities,we went with the apartment for this lower price not knowing what to expect.We were pleasantly greeted & treated as if we were staying at a five star hotel ,the one bedroom apartment was sufficient,even without the A/C the apartment never needed one & the fans went to good use being the month of July.The apartment was comfortable including the mattress ,couch & cable TV.The day that we checked out which was supposed to be in the morning we were allowed to stay longer due to a flight change of schedule being treated extremely nice during the entire time as if we were royalty.If you do not have the financial capital to stay at the King David Hotel & would like to experience Israel like a local not as a tourist I suggest a stay at this place in Nachlaot,you can not beat the price & the experience.

We are thrilled to report that we had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Israel and the apartment was indeed a highlight! The location couldn’t be better, a hop, skip and jump from the Mekomot Kedoshim, the Shuk, and eateries. The apartment was spacious and lovely;we had company over for Friday night Seuda, and our son slept over after trying the comfortable bed. The accouterments (the Shabbos plate, the urn, the dishes, the washer, the dryer) made our stay much more “Heimish” than any hotel amenities could. I want to give a special note of thanks to Michael and Donny who complied with whatever requests or inquiries we made of them. They even delivered extra chairs for our Shabbos guests and an iron and ironing board. You guys thought of everything! Todah rabah!
